Cold weather ramblings

It is a cold, nasty day and all I want to do is sit on the couch with a blanket, cup of hot tea and a book. But no... I have to go to the store, because someone decided that today would be a good day for a 4-H pizza/pool party. Of course when I decided that, it was 65 degrees out.

Marty got a promotion at work, and they are having a promotion, so basically he has been living there. Yesterday he worked 19 1/2 hours. Yeah... he said that it was as fun as it sounds. Hopefully things will level out soon, though. Either that or he will have a heart attack. Either way he might get to only work 15 hours.

Someone was walking around upstairs this morning, so I think the family that was interested in the place took it. I don't have any info about them yet, other than that "family" isn't code for "two year old triplets." And for that, I am thankful.

Maggie and I saw that your town got snow; video footage on the Weather Channel. We saw it as we sat on our coach with hot tea and blankets. We've got horrible colds though, so we'd trade in a heartbeat.
Congrats to Marty!
